Find an opportunity
In a college-town, students every where like to be a part of
the “party scene.” In Gainesville specifically, many of the ‘it’ bars are 21+.
Throughout history, as our parents and grandparents were growing up the
drinking age was 18. In 1984, a law was passed that increased the drinking age
to 21. I believe there is an opportunity to go back to the initial law-because
throughout the rest of the world the drinking age is still 18.
Figure out who may
have the unmet need
The individuals who would have these unmet needs are those
between the ages of 18-21.
Come up with a list
of questions
Do you think it is fair that your eligible to fight for your
country but you’re not allowed to buy a beer?
I do not. Because if you’re putting your life on the line
you should be able to to drink. If you can risk your life, then you can drink.
Simple as that.
Why do you think the
drinking age should be lowered again?
It should be lowered because if you are old enough at 18 to
die overseas, you are old and mature enough to make you own decision when it
comes to drinking alcohol.

If I learned one thing about the opportunity, it is that I
am capable of anything regardless of my age or gender.

If there is one thing I learned about interviewing customers
it is that most individuals have the same opinion. When it comes to drinking,
many of us believe that we can accomplish this easily.

ReplyDeleteI really like your subject. I was born and raise in Cali, Colombia and as you may Know the legal age to drink over there is 18. I think is important to drink with responsibility which in my case alcohol was not something attracted to me because I was able to try wine at a young age. I am not saying that people should start drinking young but I do think that the age of 18 is fine to take with responsibility and be able to act mature besides, it is kind of a contradiction that people here can go to war at 18 but no have a beer at a bar.
